Siemens introduces PL Series Load Centers - a new high quality and feature-rich line of load center products to meet applications for virtually every need. The PL Series load center provides maximum flexibility in combination with labor saving features to aid the contractor while installing the product. PL load centers feature the patented insta-wire neutral/ground system, convertibility, copper bussing and mounting tabs on the trim - these features were specifically engineered to decrease installation time and increase flexibility.

- Single phase 200 Amp main breaker outdoor rated load center with 40-space/40-circuits
- Features Siemens patented insta-wire technology which allows for quick and easy installation because screws are already backed out, ready for wire insertion on ground and neutral bars
- Copper bus
- All devices are provided with 2 factory installed ground bars
- Combination head screw on the neutrals, ground, trim, upper pan and bond screw provide installation flexibility
- All PL series devices convertible from main lug to main breaker and vice versa
- Mounting tabs on the trim hold the load center in place freeing up both hands to drive the trim screws
- A rigid, sturdy base pan provides the ruggedness required for the harshest applications
- NEMA type 3R: enclosure is intended for outdoor use primarily to provide a degree of protection against falling rain and sleet and must remain undamaged by the formation or ice on the enclosure; they are not intended to provide protection against conditions such as dust, internal condensation or internal icing
- Accepts Siemens type QP, QPH and HQP plug in circuit breakers
- PL Series Single Phase load centers are being phased out, and replaced by the new PN Series Plug-On Neutral load centers, PW4040B1200CU equivalent is the new PNW4040B1200C
